Taio Turn's 4! (Drayton Manor)

A few days before my nephews 4th birthday we took a day trip out to Drayton Manor to visit Thomas Land.

The day was spent with Taio trying to school me on who's who of the Thomas world...




The experience of trying to obtain online tickets was not a pleasant one. 

We tried numerous times to buy tickets online but the system just wasn't working that so much Linzi (my sister-in-law) had to complain to them...twice. 

The tickets cost £20.00 per adult for entry to the park and entry to the "Castle of Dreams" to secure your spot to visit Santa. The ticket for entry to the park only was £15.00 per adult and if you purchased your ticket at the gate the ticket would cost you £30.00.

As you had to see Santa within an allotted time frame there was none left when we finally booked.

After a back and forth with their customer service (or lack thereof) we managed to obtain a reservation number and were able to pay £15.00 at the gate. Taio's ticket cost £5 and Rionn went in for free.

The plus side to all this was free parking and the sun was shining all day.
