Becky's Baby Shower

I went to a baby shower last weekend with lots of boob chats and afternoon tea.

We all gathered at Dolly's Vintage Tearoom in Nottingham to celebrate the waiting arrival of our friend Becky's baby boy, who is due in May.

We arrived to find we got lucky on the seating arrangement. A birthday party cancelled at the last minute so we got the big room to ourselves.

We ate yummy afternoon tea of warm scones and sandwiches, drank lots of tea in cute assorted tea sets and chatted all things babies and life.

We played 3 games. Mine was a baby quiz. Some questions were really hard but I think we learned a lot. I now know what a travel system is. Natalie's games were Guess the Items and Who's that Baby.

If you don't know, guess the items is where you hide baby related items (of course) in a concealed bag and people have to stick their hand in, feel around and write down what they think they are. In the end, Becky got to keep all the things which was a lovely idea. Who's the baby is where you collect all the guests baby photos and the mum-to-be must guess who the picture belongs too.

Putting together the Guide to Parenting.

This should really read Guide to BAD Parenting!

An educated page on stool samples.
Other pages were too rude to show.

This is the face Becky made while her mum talked about dildos

I altered Keely's baby picture...just a little

As per usual, we were talking soooooo much we didn't realise the time until the staff started sweeping up.

It was a lovely afternoon and I hope Becky had a great time.

Now we wait for baby!

:-)
