Salou, Spain (October 2013) Day 1

The time finally came. We packed our suitcases and jetted off to sunny Salou.
Salou in October is amazing. Your still welcomed by the smiling sun yet its not packed by huge crowds as it is in peak season. This would be the second time we went as the boy and I had our very first holiday abroad there last year.
You can see that post here.
This time however, we decided to bring some friend with us.
Our friend Jono was very excited...as you can tell

I got a bit snap happy with my Nikon and Iphone 5 so I will be making this a holiday feature with a "seven day" post.

Day 1
This year, we stayed at Vi.La Romana hotel. We had such a great experience with them last year that we thought our friends would love it too. Who would say no to table service? Fresh pancakes and omelettes for breakfast? An outdoor/indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and two jacuzzi's?

Tara waiting patiently at the airport

Katie enjoying a glass of Rose

You can feel the excitement while boarding our flight.
Due to certain connections to the airline we managed to get priority seating.
If you know Ryanair it was fully gratifying

Obligatory sky pictures
We caught an evening flight which meant we wouldn't get to the hotel until 9:15pm

We finally arrived.
Checked ourselves in. Realized one of our friends was situated in a completely different section of the hotel (opps). Managed to grab the evening meal and proceeded to get drinks and play some pool.

Obligatory night time pool
These are very grainy. With all the excitement, I forgot to set up my phone
